I had the great pleasure of spending a warm day in May at a working farm outside of Charlottesville that raises a herd of grass-fed cows and grapes for locally-made wine. The owners and their farm family are a close-knit group, working together to ensure the happiness of all who live on the property. We ended our time together with a meal in the garden, lovingly prepared by chef Ingrid Berger.
